Document Legalization
If you
need to get a non-Thai document legalized by the Royal Thai Consulate
in Vancouver, you will need to do the following :
- You
will need to get your document notarized (legalized) by The Law Society
of B.C. or The Society of the Notaries Public of B.C. If your documents
have been notirized by other organizations please check with The Royal
Thai Consulate in Vancouver.

- After
the document has been legalized by the above, you will need to fill
out an application form from our consulate. This application form can
be downloaded from this website or obtained at the link below.
- After
completing the application form, you may send along the original and
a photocopy of the document to our consulate by courier. If sending
the document and the application by courier, you will need to provide
your courier's account number for us to send it back to you after completed.
You will need to include CAD$25.00 per document by Money Order
payable to "The Royal Thai Consulate General", with location
of the office included (see below). Personal cheques will not be
accepted. You may also apply in person and pay the fee in cash.
- Photo
copy of passport or photo ID.

The Consulate also legalize translated official Thai documents. The original
and translated document must be sent together with the name of the translator
and phone number clearly shown. We are not responsible for contents of
the translation.
