REGISTRATION OF ADOPTION

To obtain a registration of adoption of a Thai minor, all adoptors must have already been approved by the Public Welfare Department of Thailand and must submit the following documents to the Consulate and the Embassy :

1. Completed registration request forms.
   
2. The adoptor's passport (including the spouse's passport).
   
3. The adopted child's passport .
   
4. The adoptor's driver license (including the spouse's driver license).
   
5. One photograph of the child (size 2" x 2").

Please make an appointment with the a consulate official in advance.

The registration of adoption is issued free of charge.
